Know Before You Go
Twisted Wings Outfitters hunts the flooded fields and timber country of southeast Missouri. Jeff and the crew scout current bird activity, choose the setup, prepare the decoy spread, and handle the calling so your group can focus on a safe, enjoyable day in the blind. Waterfowl movement changes with weather and migration, so the exact location and plan may change as the guides follow the birds.
Your guide will provide the meeting details and timing before the hunt. The $400 rate covers an all-day guided hunt, including morning and afternoon hunting when conditions and regulations allow. No ethical outfitter can promise a limit, but our crew puts in the scouting and preparation needed to give every group a quality opportunity.
Hunters are responsible for current licenses and permits, legal non-toxic ammunition, a compliant shotgun, weather-ready clothing, and personal items. Review our guided duck hunt packing checklist and our guide to blind-busting mistakes to avoid before leaving home.
There is no minimum party size and no overnight stay is required. Children under 16 hunt free with a paying adult. Veterans and law enforcement receive their first day of hunting and lodging free. Please contact Jeff when booking to confirm eligibility, dates, and arrangements.
Flat rate, no hidden fees. Meals are not included, and guests may use the lodge kitchen to prepare their own food.
Lodge access is included, but an overnight stay is never required.
